small towns burn a little slower is a new collection by bluetan, a Brooklyn-based art collective. The four members work in an array of mediums exploring the human condition through photography, paintings, installation and mixed media works. Bluetan consists of four artists with four different styles and sets of experiences yet the work flows together with familiar transcendental qualities.

Coming out of a busy year of gallery shows, museum events, art festivals and group and solo exhibitions in Miami, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Connecticut, California, North Carolina and South Carolina; bluetan is thrilled to team up with Push Skateshop since the artists established their creative roots while growing up skateboarding in North and South Carolina.
